David Robinson is openly calling for Alberta separatists to ramp up their misinformation campaigns. When I called him out, he hit the block button. Add him to the growing list of "tough" men in Alberta who can’t handle being held accountable by the people they claim to represent. 🤡 #Alberta

Mitch said if every member was to donate 40 to 50 bucks to the Alberta prosperity project right now, which is anonymous, we would be in a great position to win. I just donated 50 bucks.

@Jamessstanton @IndepenceArmy Our signatures came with ID and no harassment to seniors in a home that probably doesn’t even have their own phone! Doesn’t matter anyway only an election will give us the real number.

Alberta Sovereignty Now
💰 Alberta keeps paying. Ottawa keeps taking. For decades, Alberta has been the economic engine of Canada — powering jobs, industry, agriculture, and energy across the country. Yet while Albertans contribute billions through equalization and transfer payments, our province continues to face federal roadblocks, attacks on our resource sector, and policies that hurt our economy. Meanwhile: ▪️ Alberta contributes billions more than it receives ▪️ Our oil & gas industry is targeted while Eastern Canada benefits ▪️ Farmers, ranchers, truckers, and workers are overtaxed and underrepresented ▪️ Ottawa continues to centralize power while Alberta voices are ignored ▪️ Our wealth leaves Alberta while our infrastructure and services struggle From the Rockies to the rigs, Alberta was built by hardworking people who believe in freedom, opportunity, and self-determination. More Albertans are beginning to ask: 👉 What exactly are we getting in return? The conversation around Alberta Independence is growing because people are tired of watching this province fund the rest of the country while being treated like an afterthought. Enough is enough. Keep our wealth. Build our future. #Alberta #AlbertaSovereigntyNow #AlbertaIndependence #Equalization #WesternCanada #OilAndGas #StandWithAlberta #Wexit #AlbertaStrong #CanadaPolitics

wrongo. actually for us regular day people the system works in our favour, sadly we seem to simply be lagging behind. Hydro electricity is simply way cheaper to so Quebec is able to greatly reduce electricity bills there, and by doing that their revenue is lower which brings up their equalization payments. and this is why I say the system works in our benefit because it incentives the province to help lower the cost of living this way. To get angry at that is simply childish, just complaining that the other kid is better at the game than you are.

@Jamessstanton @TerryHethering9 The equalization system is broken though. The fact that renewables like hydroelectricity don’t count in the calculations allows Ontario and Quebec to benefit disproportionately from its current structure. That does need to change.

A lot of Albertans are realizing that the firearm issue is about far more than guns. It’s about who governs Alberta. It’s about property rights. And it’s about whether lawful citizens should lose legally acquired property because of decisions made in Ottawa by politicians Alberta overwhelmingly did not vote for. Canadian gun owners are the most law-abiding people in the country. To legally own firearms in Canada you must go through background checks, licensing, safety courses, daily continuous eligibility screening, transportation/storage laws, and strict federal regulation. These are not criminals. These are farmers, hunters, tradesmen, sport shooters, collectors, small business owners, and ordinary families. And yet they are constantly portrayed as if they are somehow connected to gang shootings and American-style crime problems. That comparison is dishonest. Canada is not the United States. Our laws are already vastly stricter. The overwhelming majority of gun crime in Canada involves illegal firearms, gang activity, repeat violent offenders, smuggling, and organized crime. But instead of focusing on that, Ottawa targets licensed owners who already follow the law. And this is where the property rights issue becomes massive. Many Canadians are only now realizing something uncomfortable: Canadians do not have constitutional property rights. In Canada, governments can prohibit entire categories of previously legal property and order citizens to surrender them through Orders in Council, without a direct national vote and often without meaningful compensation relative to what people paid. A lot of Albertans are asking themselves an important question: If the government can do this to one type of lawful property today, what prevents future governments from doing similar things elsewhere tomorrow? That question goes way beyond firearms. Albertans are tired of being governed by distant political priorities that do not reflect Alberta culture, Alberta values, or Alberta realities. And unlike Ottawa, every major figure in the Alberta independence movement openly supports both firearm rights and property rights. That matters. Because at the end of the day, this is really about self-government. Should Alberta’s future be decided in Alberta by Albertans? Or should Albertans continue living under policies imposed by governments they repeatedly reject at the ballot box? For many people, October 19 is becoming about far more than a referendum. It’s becoming a decision about freedom, representation, accountability, and whether Alberta finally takes control of its own future.

bullshit alert 🚨 Even in this most“peaceful” hypothetical with a clear majority in a legitimate Alberta referendum votes Yes to separation, and the US immediately grants international recognition. it would still be a major diplomatic and strategic disaster for the United States. It would be seen as actively undermining a close ally’s territorial integrity, violating long-standing norms of international law and practice.

The Alberta Independence movement has already made two very significant gains. 1. 300,000+ petition signatures. 2. Smoking out the grifters who make their living off of the federal taxpayer-funded swamp. #abpoli #cdnpoli #AlbertaIndependence

@JustinSchafer1 @absovern you and I both know you wouldn't have the same thought of that if you were living in manitoba. and if your political ideas can change simply because of where you live in a country? thats insane.

@cgy_guy @Line_Fault I agree Trudeau had to go. it was getting insane. But Carney has shown his colours as an economist. What has he done to "attack" us?

I’d agree with that. In fact I never had a problem subsidizing smaller provinces. That all changed when Trudeau and Carney started attacking our economy. Then I also realized how under represented we are and that we have essentially zero say in the governance of the country. If that can’t be fixed, I don’t want to help them anymore. 🤷‍♂️

An independent Alberta could potentially have zero income tax if we don’t have to support Canada. We have more oil and less population than UAE who have no personal income tax. Let’s go! #AlbertaIndependence
