2020 has been amazing for AI-based graphics research.
Shunsuke Saito's #pifuhd uses just a single photo to generate a full 360 model of you - including the back. 🤯
It gave me a weird head but it correctly guessed I have a great butt!🍑

I predict we'll see this (or a variation of this) in sports broadcasting soon. With enough cameras around the rink or track, announcers will be able to synthesize a camera in the thick of the action.

@Wolfseby @JasminDarnell Copies are alcohol-based - if you use some rubbing alcohol and a rag you should be able to blot the stain off your shirt!

@JasminDarnell I literally just sketched this an hour ago and used Copics (I never use them) they work just fine on the moleskine paper but it will bleed heavily through the back of the page with heavy application.

@JasonCobill I haven't got many notes. The first resource is a site that Ian Rowlands thought was great because it gives away knowledge for free. (He is not a software person!) It's about soft pastels.
