Chamath nails it here. "That's amazing. You can do that now. You can have software that is so vibrant that it can release a stream and there will be people that have developed agents and AI that will process all of that. And they will then publish out a dashboard. And the whole thing will be almost real time... it could be real time." THIS is our opportunity. Onchain businesses can flip traditional businesses when it comes to transparency and investor relations. Let the market force real time streaming for financials and user metrics. This would completely redefine crypto's brand and overnight make tokens an institutionally accepted asset class.

A few years ago founders wouldn't speak at our events because they were scared of the SEC and CFTC. Now both Chairman Atkins and Chairman Selig are speaking on Day 1 of DAS (next week). Not the time to be distracted by magazine articles folks, the wind is at our backs.

Personal Update: This is my last week at Blockworks. What @JasonYanowitz & @MikeIppolito_ have built is truly exceptional - high talent density, high work ethic, *great* people. I’m gonna miss this team, & I’m grateful for everyone here that made this chapter special. I’m just lucky to have been a part of it. There is no doubt in my mind Blockworks continues to grow and dominate data, research, & podcasts. This team SHIPS like no other. @smyyguy, @EffortCapital, @0xMether, @GoldDefi, @fejau_inc and the rest of the team are just getting started. Excited for what’s ahead. On to the next thing. More soon.

Today, I stepped down as CEO of Messari and handed the reins to Diran. This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one for the company’s next phase, and he has my full support. It’s also a difficult day for the team as we say goodbye to many people who helped build Messari. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey. It’s been the privilege of a lifetime to work with such an extraordinary group of people over the last eight years. I’ll continue supporting the team as an advisor and am rooting for what comes next.

Mike has thought more about crypto IR than anyone I know. Here's the TLDR: 1. IR is a function of how many investors know your token exists + how many of those convert into buyers 2. If you do not tell your story, the market will tell it for you 3. Token issuers must worship at the altar of supply and demand 4. Narrative matters. But in 2026, if you don't have the data to back it up, it's useless 5. IR can be fun and engaging 6. You must reduce all friction for potential investors 7. Onchain data unlocks new investor analytics that equities-IR teams can only dream of 8. The cost of poor transparency is high 9. If you're doing IR, you must track metrics beyond just price Welcome to the Age of Fundamentals.

@thesamparr Give unlimited budget for 1 month + create slack channel with everyone. Anyone can use any tool and build anything they want as long as they share what they're building in the channel. Then pick the tools that people use the most and roll out to everyone with proper trainings.

How is everyone getting team adoption for Claude? I spent a lot of time on Twitter, as do you. We see all this AI stuff popping up. We're on top of it, or at least sorta. I know what's going on and are testing all these fringe ideas. But how are all you people getting your team to actually use it effectively without spending all their time on Twitter and learning, which we know they won't and probably shouldn't be?

I don't think there's a more clear sign that we're in an institutional bull market than DAS. We just sold out of our VIP tickets. Had to raise prices for GA tickets $300 today because we're going to sell out early. CEOs of huge financial players like BNY Mellon and Western Union are speaking alongside the chairman of both SEC and CFTC. Have never seen a Blockworks event like this one. Retail bear, institutional bull.
