Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace. My maxim! Nothing more nothing less and nothing else.

Back in the UK nursing a rough flu and a heavier heart. Grieving my mum loss has been one of the hardest things I’ve faced, and it all feels a bit more raw being home. But even through the sadness, I’m holding on to the sweet memories from my time in America. Grateful for the light in the dark and the people who made it brighter. One day at a time. #دعونا_نتعرى

Thank you all for the empathy and support during this incredibly difficult time . Your kind words, messages, and presence have meant more than I can express. Grief is a heavy journey, but knowing I’m not alone makes it a little more bearable. My mum was deeply loved, and I will carry her in my heart always.

Your wife doesn't need a perfect man. She needs a godly one. A man who repents quickly, forgives often, prays boldly, and leads humbly.

I have to admit that I seriously disagree with the gentle parenting movement & unschooling as well. From what I've seen (so I'm not saying all) they often lead to children having no sense of discipline, direction, or true moral guidance.

We chose to raise our kids. 100 percent. We have been homeschooling them for 7 years now. Emily is Hawaiian, Puerto Rican, Samoan, Tongan and Maori- I am Hawaiian Chinese Filipino. We have strong convictions to teach them the ways of our heritage. Part of their education is hands on learning. Tonight they learned how to pound poi. (The one you see in the picture is Pa’i ai a thicker version with less water) A Hawaiian tradition of making taro into a paste type of food that is usually eaten with salty foods like fish, pork, beef and various foods. We strongly encourage parents to learn their heritage (ethnic background) and pass that on to your kids. This was a great experience to do with our kids - and tapping into our Native Hawaiian roots … also a great way to put down the electronics and do something constructive with their hands If you want to learn the beginning stages on how we did this watch: x.com/darealgreglope…
