I thought the point of the blue checkmark was to combat account impersonation? To verify the account is the REAL famous person worth impersonating. If you can just BUY a blue checkmark, doesn't that just place a price on impersonation and drive the value of the check to zero?

Please, for the love of god, stop using debit cards day-to-day.
Literally do not use them unless it’s an absolute last resort and you do a forensics analysis for 30mins on the machine you’re putting it into. You have 0 protection if the money goes.
