@willsolfiac @memeticsisyphus The news outlets know what they are doing. Maybe not the initial reporter, or every reporter, but there is no way an editor looks at this stuff and doesn’t realize what’s going on It’s started to slow down State-side after two decades of it being extremely frequent on Twitter/X

I always find that this topic is where the left-wing mask of being the smart ones slips. Every single time it turns out they're misusing statistics in a way that would embarrass a smart 13 year old. And so it is in this case. The report just compares deaths in custody (86 whites, 23 blacks, 5 asians) with their overall population proportions, and concludes that the police are somehow killing people in custody because they're black. I mean it surely wouldn't even be hard to run a study controlling for the proportions actually being IN custody. I would presume that the reason they haven't is because it doesn't show anything.
Owen Jones@owenjonesjourno

Black people are seven times more likely to die after police restraint. If I demanded "pure, cold rage" in response to any of those killings, right-wingers would demand my arrest for incitement.

🇷🇺‼️🚨 EXPLANATION: “WORK, BROTHERS” is a phrase that a Dagestani police officer, Magomed Nurbagandov, said in a video to ISIS kidnappers who were forcing him to record a message for other policemen. The ISIS kidnappers tried to make him say “STOP THE WORK” so that other police and special forces would stop their anti-terrorist work and leave them alone. But Magomed said “WORK, BROTHERS” in defiance and was subsequently shot. Special forces later captured and partially killed the ISIS group and found the video on their phones. The phrase has become a catchphrase and patriotic slogan in Russia. It is Especially used in the military context, implying that the work must be done and that people are ready to die for it. Putin used this phrase to appeal to the deepest patriotic elements of Russian society. Putin sent a signal of defiance RIP Magomed Nurbagandov

🇷🇺🇺🇦‼️🚨 IMPORTANT: Putin rejected Zelensky’s letter as rude and said it’s not the time to talk to him, but it’s time to address the army! Putin: “Dear soldiers and officers … the country looks at you and is proud of you! WORK, BROTHERS!” -> “Work, brothers” is a chant in Russia in support of the army, symbolizing backing for the troops and the call to fight on. Here “work” means fight but symbolizes that the fight is a necessary job. It’s kinda wild that Putin used this slogan! Big symbolism.

@HueObservations @idyllicmusing It is not. Black people have live in the US for hundreds of years and their (limited) IQ development is almost entirely due to interbreeding (85 vs 70; average Black American is 25% European by blood)

Soil fertility alone explains 34% of the differences in national IQ. Countries on the best soils (Mollisols, Andisols) average 10–15 IQ points higher than those on the wort soils (Oxisols, Ultisols), even before accounting for education or income. This geographic pattern is visible in real populations. Japan and Taiwan sit on volcanic Andisols and consistently rank among the highest in global intelligence metrics due to their nutrient‑rich, high‑CEC soils. Meanwhile, much of equatorial Africa rests on Oxisols, soils so weathered and nutrient‑stripped that they produce chronically low micronutrient availability. The further a soil’s pH drifts from 6.5, the more national IQ (MNIQ) declines. If your soil is too acidic (like much of the tropics), zinc and iron become unavailable. If your soil is too alkaline (like the Middle East), micronutrients get locked up too. The correlation between soil fertility and national IQ is r = 0.58, meaning soil alone accounts for 34% of the variation. Explaining 34% of a complex human trait is extremely high.

@FistedFoucault Pavel Durov was not treated overly well.. You do have EuroNet coming soon, all the best NGOs are working on it I hear Admittedly, it’s been several years since i was in NW Europe. I was in Greece fairly recently, although social media censorship wasn’t a hot topic obviously

Microplastics are everywhere, causing irreversible damage to our environment and potentially our health. We commend EPA’s efforts to add microplastics to the list of prioritized research contaminants in drinking water. This is an important step for protecting our environment & public health. oag.ca.gov/news/press-rel…

@idyllicmusing I’m assuming that’s because high-IQ people move to areas with better soil to farm on? Surely you aren’t connecting the two causally

Henry Nowak died the same way a civilization dies: abandoned, handcuffed by authorities who neither trusted nor cared for him, and accused of hate crimes he did not commit. His murder is as tragic as it is enraging. He should still be alive today, and he would be if the last few generations of European elites had stood their ground against the politics of self-hatred and the mass invasion of migrants, many of whom despise the West and the people who love it. Henry was far from the first to so needlessly lose his life, and I fear he won’t be the last. Each time a life like his is lost, the proper response—the only response—is righteous anger. One of the most important things the Trump administration has proven to the world is that stopping the flow of mass migration and defending national sovereignty is a matter of political will and leadership. Anything else is an excuse. It is because we love the West that we want to preserve it. We love our civilization. We love our country. We love our children. And nobody—nobody—should ever die the way that Henry Nowak died. May God comfort those who loved him, and may God rest his soul.
Visegrád 24@visegrad24

In his final moments, Henry Nowak told police officers nine times “I can’t breathe” and four times that he had been stabbed. In response police officer dragged him across the gravel, handcuffed and read him his rights. It was the last thing Henry heard before he died.
