@matthew_d_green The source of trust must be transparent and the basis of the trust declared. Whose user tables and whose keys are we relying for any authentication.

You always have to trust something. This is an iron law. But maybe — optimistically — the thing you have to trust could be temporally limited. That’s probably the best hope for crypto.

One of my favorite computer security/cryptography failure modes is when designers forget that some part of the system ultimately has to be trusted.

I had an idea while driving to ask #ChatGPT to assist in writing Medical Narrative Reports. With some tuning, and eventually an easily filled out form, this could be huge. Billing/report writing software is insanely expensive.

Now seeing no 'number of results' in the Google SERPs, looks like it's removed from the site: search operator but also from the search results as well.
