The story is basically titled “the wasteful son,” but since he returns, people assume prodigal son means “the sinful son who returned,” and misuse prodigal.

Harvard hasn’t brought back Jewish quotas. It’s done something more insidious.
Create a campus where Jewish students feel unsafe, unwelcome, and pressured to hide who they are, and you don’t need formal limits. Fewer Jews will come. Fewer will stay.
