Mythos got banned because Anthropic was taking bad press over restrictions and getting this designation before their ipo changed the narrative. They have a really strong partnership with government entities despite the optics so the government is scratching Anthropics back so to speak. Don’t worry it will be reintroduced as soon as soon as the bad press is forgotten.

Can someone explain (as simply as possible) why Fable 5 got banned? I thought it had all the safety guardrails that Mythos didn’t have? I’m probably missing something

Beyond the hype I think this stack is one of the best. Composer 2.5 is fast and capable and works well in the harness and you won’t be hitting premature limits like the rest. I think if cost, less creative limits and speed matter (and it certainly does to me) Grok CLI is a front runner.

@giffmana Terms of service say don't use this to train competing models. The fact that the model may be nerfed for tasks that are against intentional violations of terms of service makes a lot of sense. Being sneaky when exfiltrators are being sneaky also makes sense.
