From listening to some of the new folks running for senate and the house, there might be a movement to turn things around. Kind of like the world of science. They say new discoveries are made one funeral at a time (as in, when the old guard with dogma die off, new folks come in with fresh ideas and approaches).

The House just passed the Tehran Incitement to Violence Act (H.R. 6230), requiring the Secretary of State to determine whether certain Iranian individuals and entities that have incited or supported violence should be sanctioned.
The bill strengthens deterrence and reinforces efforts to hold the Iranian regime accountable for its destabilizing activities.
