Today, I proclaimed June as Nuclear Family Month in Indiana. As a father of four and grandfather of seven, I have seen firsthand the impact that loving, committed families can have across multiple generations. As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, this proclamation recognizes the important role families play in shaping the future of our state and our country. Indiana will continue supporting policies that strengthen families and help the next generation thrive.

GPD is aware of several major intersections without power to the stoplights. We are deploying generators to some of these locations to help ease congestion. No information is available on the estimated time for power restoration.

I’m disgusted to see the rainbow crosswalk in Surrey was damaged. Vandalism is not protected free speech. As Pride Month begins, I stand in solidarity with the community and condemn hate in all its forms. Thank you to the City of Surrey for cleaning this up.
