@Jonwatsaiki @5Solas2 You said that you are fine with Jesus as the Messiah, and yet you outright said that nothing is about Jesus. Should you not be thinking about the life Jesus lived and see how well it fits the Messianic Prophecies from an unbiased view?

@JustScrollingBr @5Solas2 yes, we don’t know why the writer of matthew appropriated these bible cerses that have nothing to do with Jesus. But nothing in the old testament is about Jesus

@Jonwatsaiki @5Solas2 Psalm 2- Who is the Anointed One? Who is the begotten Son that is given the world for His possession? Who is the Son that must be kissed to avoid His anger? Who is the Son that blesses all who trust in Him? I view this as clearly speaking of Jesus, the Messiah. What do u think?

@Jonwatsaiki @5Solas2 Don't just deny. Provide a counter argument. I'd love to learn more about what Jews believe, and you are providing absolutely nothing of merit by simply denying- so I ask that you will please give counter arguments and tell me what the verse means to you.

@Jonwatsaiki @5Solas2 I ran out of characters to type- but to clarify that last sentence- "You would also see if you read the New Testament, and the Old Testament again afterwards". I'm sure you are well read in the Tanakh, but I highly doubt you have bothered to read the New Testament.

@Jonwatsaiki @5Solas2 I'm going to need the specific verse in regards to universal knowledge of God- as I cannot find that verse in the Old Testament. As for your statement "many things you are told are prophecy about Jesus are not"- I am not told, I read and I see. You would also see if you read.

@Jonwatsaiki @5Solas2 I really can. World Peace is in the second coming, after the Judgement. How do I know it is after Judgement Day, and not in this world? The verse literally starts of with "He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide disputes for many peoples;" (Isaiah 2:4)

@JustScrollingBr @5Solas2 no, you really can’t. This is hindsight. But the messiah isn’t shppoed to cone again. If Jesus were the messiah there eould be world peace

@Jonwatsaiki @5Solas2 Matthew 1:23 states that Isaiah 7:14 is about Jesus. Although, if you had doubts, read Isaiah 7-9 and see how chapter 9 talks about this Child being on the throne of David, and lasting "from this time forth and forevermore"- not to mention the talk of Righteouness.

Self righteous boys who use the Bible to try to get the upper hand on people, especially women, are so full of pride & are a headache. From here on out, I will be blocking them if they end up in my replies. They just cause strife & I don’t want that in my community. Pray for them

@EnglandXbaiter @lillianmcgolide @cdoll Then I read: Isaiah through Malachi. Then Matthew through Jude. Then I go back and read Ezra and Nehemiah. Then I'd read Psalms and Proverbs (books of wisdom). Then, I'd go back and read all the chapters I skipped in the first 5 books and 1 & 2 Chronicles.

@EnglandXbaiter @lillianmcgolide @cdoll Instead, I recommend reading the story first, and then going back and reading what you skipped. I have a pretty thorough outline of how I read in order to skip the constant laws and established lineages and save them for the very end, after I get the meat of the Book. I dm it 2 u

@EnglandXbaiter @lillianmcgolide @cdoll I did not read it like a normal book. You cannot read the Bible from start to finish, like a normal book, easily because after Genesis, you're just going to get a few hundred chapters of lists of laws, with a lil history mixed in.

Much more lenient than the raping and enslaving Muslims did to the Christian nations that are majority Islam now.
