Nothing more exciting than a week after re-opening your USA Etsy shop and seeing the sales and hearing the sound of sales!! It's been a long/rough 6 months and I'm so happy to finally get my customers back 🥰🥰

I'm enjoying maintaining full size, printable board games!! It's easier than buying the cardboard versions that my kids wreck in 2-3 plays lol... Making so many more types! - Game of Life - Candy Land - Sociables/party games Any other suggestions?

I need an injection molding device Does anyone have any ideas of relatively affordable or good DIY ones? I have a client who wants a project done and we've discovered that printing it just does not work and the parts are too weak and fragile....

For this project, I don’t think injection molding is the answer. Developing the mold for this item will be hard because of the holes. There are a few tricks to keep it 3D printed. You can make the part chunkier, make the walls thicker, or change the orientation of the print so the layer lines are aligned with the angle of stress.

Start with the weight of the item and add gates and runners then figure out a machine and hydraulic cylinder needed to fill that much weight of plastic in the mold in one shot. There are lots of diy and small garage shop sized machines but it entirely depends on the size of the item You can prototype molds with 3d prints but they don’t last long

That's cool and is exactly the kind of verifiable output $MINT is built for. Simple OctoPrint or slicer wrappers could let your printers earn fixed-rate tokens from job runtime/completion without extra platforms. If you're open to experimenting, first 5-10 operators get 5k $MINT bounty for integration proof. Repo & agent guide here: github.com/FoundryNet/fou… No pressure, just thought it might fit your workflow. Cheers

Kristyn, the shift from mining to 3D printing as value creation is a smart pivot as printers have verifiable output that's easier to reward directly than hash power. Simple wrappers on OctoPrint could let them earn for print jobs autonomously. If you're modding printers, open to chatting how that might plug into a neutral monetary layer?
