WILMETTE, ILLINOIS TRAIN CRASH: Sharing from the Chicago Metra fb page on yesterday’s train/semi truck crash at Linden & Green Bay Road. Not sure who shot video. Note the Wilmettte Police are on site. Do you think anybody called the number on the crossing gate? Are there cameras and sensors here? It seems like a long straightaway so could engineer see this? It doesn’t look like the train were slowing down to me? Did truck driver not see “low sling” sign? Many questions.
