@NatsOfTheFuture Yeah from a Nats perspective this is the best trade we could’ve made. From a SD perspective it just may feel a bit unfair, but like you said they went all in and went to an NLCS and ultimately didn’t get it done

@NatsOfTheFuture I guess it’s not the same as WAR as it is with money, but my point is that we were basically guaranteed to win this trade by WAR, and the reason the Padres did it was to gain more wins in the short term, so any comparison should try to account for that
