Someone smart has a theory about the defamation lawsuit. If the plaintiffs solidly lose on a truth defense by Aidan, that kinda equates to a probable cause threshold for a grand jury. Think about it- The plaintiffs are idiots. They’re asking for an indictment. @adamdeitch

The ridiculous defamation lawsuit against Aidan Kearney & Karen Read will fail primarily because it hinges on a "deliberate campaign of lies" that they can't prove because it doesn't exist. Everyone who reviews the overwhelming evidence comes to the same conclusion: the plaintiffs were involved.

These are indisputable facts. The people inside Brian Albert’s house were never treated as potential suspects, and many of them were never even interviewed. Those who were had hours alone together to get their story straight. They never came out of the house to help, and didn’t offer their home up to first responders throughout the day. None of them saw his huge body 10 feet away from the curb when they drove by him. None of them were checked for scratches, bruises, or cuts. They sold the home that was never searched, but only after they were accused of being involved in the murder in court filings. The aggressive dog slept through the whole thing and then they got rid of her. They got rid of their phones the day before a preservation order. They called each other when they were sleeping and blamed it on butt dials. They butt answered during sexual intercourse. They monitored police activity and directed each other to stick to the story that the guy never came in the house. They called and answered calls at 5:07, 6:07, and 6:08 when they were sleeping. They never went to bed and were awake at 4:30 AM after a night of drinking. They moved suspicious bags from car to car at the police station at 2 AM while drunk. They coached Kerry Roberts through a timeline and lied to her so much that she repeated those lies to the grand jury. They explained boxing scars by lying under oath about falling on ice and bracing themselves with fists. Chris Albert’s testimony destroyed his son’s timeline and proved that he lied. They offered bribes to the lead detective who never questioned their son, who was in his sisters wedding party. They never spoke to the most important non-house defendant witness - the plow driver - until I made them. They left the house in a blizzard to do their unrecorded interviews across town. They didn’t find any taillight until 3 guys Lt OHarra didn’t recognize started to help them search. They Googled “how long to die in cold” at 2:27 AM when it made no logical sense to google that unless they were plotting to murder someone, and then erased that google search. They made sure that an innocent woman was arrested, and then they pressured the DA to arrest an innocent man for doing what the police wouldn’t and investigate this murder properly. Karen Read did not and could not have killed John Okeefe, which means someone else did. We all know who did it Steve. The jury that acquitted her knew. We all know.

@justlarry315 @DoctorTurtleboy Whist both are at fault in some way or another, I think the problem does lie with too many people get invested. It gets messy, private life should stay private and playing it all out on the internet leads to this type of BS. Both should stay away from each other.

Ok, you guys won. I got nothing done today but listened to that horrendous hearing of @DoctorTurtleboy. Here’s my take. First, this was true real life drama. You could make a reality TV show out of this. I couldn’t believe I was watching an actual court hearing in America. Wow. Aidan has no shame. Merideth is crazy. But Aidan is the man. He’s the public figure. With that said, I don’t care if my freedom and actual life were on the line, I would never in a million years get on the stand and say I was scared, crying, talk about sex, kids, weird internet people, etc. Maybe it’s just how I was raised but no way. If he was raised in the mob he’d have been shot at birth. Real men do not act like this. Even if they’re right, they fall on their sword. Merideth did some weird shit. She does have a history. But he should’ve seen it a mile away. And even then, you bite your tongue and just move on. This dude literally can’t help talking too much. This judge was awesome. He went from looking like he wanted to jump out of the window to, at times, having fun with it. I hope Bradl is getting paid HUGE. Bradl, by all accounts, is a very serious attorney that just won a major case. I can’t imagine that he was happy having to litigate this nonsense and deal with a client that has shared his own private texts. This is unbelievable. That’s all. I hope the judge sends them both to jail and makes them bunk together.

@lindseygaetani I’ve been away from all that’s gone on but I got that vibe that MO would go full on bunny boiler if she and Aiden split. However, I think the judge will struggle to understand most of it. He should grant both a RO and put a stop to it all together!

Today was the most hilarious, maddening, and mind-numbing things I've ever witnessed. Turtle Head, Purple Head, Ray from Dallas, Koalas.. The only thing that would have been the icing on the cake is if someone had name-dropped Krusty Panties. I think the judge would have actually pulled out a flask, drank it in one singular gulp, ripped his robe off and gave dueces to the courtroom as he ran for the back exit.

@DropMicrodots I haven’t really followed any of the post KR drama, I walked away from a lot of streams. Couldn’t keep up with who’s fell out with who. I tuned into the glarer a what a watch.. that court was pure comedy chaos. Aiden came across well. MO’s attorney, did she hire him from temu?

The Turtleboy hearing today was absolute chaos...until Aidan testified. He comes across as likable, articulate and credible. Him and attorney Tim Bradl together are a force.
