@IanRunkle @LamarVsAllen The cops involved want her convicted so bad, they’re willing to make up new motive theories while testifying at trial under oath. Imagine one of your witnesses, Ian- counselor, going rogue on you like that, in the bottom of the 9th. MA has a bad cop problem.

@IanRunkle @LamarVsAllen In that case, it’s obviously wrong and against societal norms, etc. This ADA sounded a lot like he may be intentionally swinging strikes, perhaps because he’s in a catch 22 situation. Funny, catch “22” sounds wrong after Trailer Park Boys.

Some people gave me grief about no context before, so: Kelsey Fitzsimmons cross. What the hell? I was sitting there going "This is taking a long time, he's building to something though". And then the prosecution is like "Eh, I give up."

Today is the first day I that I have clarity in the Kelsey Fitzsimmons case. My firm reasonable doubt comes from her alleging they staged or moved things in her room. If I think they may have, I think they also may have manipulated her gun.

@KelseyTuoc Friend or “brother” or “sister.” It’s intended to remind big egos to respect their opponents in court. Suggesting opposing counsel is “confused,” is typically when shit gets real. Merely alleging such a defect is about as offensive as it can get using subtext.

We just got viewership numbers for @CourtTV and I’m happy to say that since our acquisition, the numbers are up across the board! So thankful for the hard work from the Court TV and @LawCrimeNetwork teams for what has (so far) been a really harmonious merger.

@0yOlives @slidinlydon Just noticed the fine print on the trust in police graph. Not exactly what I was looking for, but yeah, that. The survey I was looking for has law enforcement in the U.S. (generally) around 23%. Criminal Justice caused the Schism AND ending the British Empire. It’ll end us.

@0yOlives @slidinlydon The steam engine and trust in police in the US are literally the two phenomena with the most change in the shortest amount of time. Ever. While the steam engine is still the most (common knowledge in academia), trust in cops is comin’ in hot. Therefore, yes; nat’l importance.

I love how every person on the Karen Read is guilty train believe that Kelsey should be found guilty as well. No independent thought whatsoever. Any opinion on any topic from FKR, the guilters will roll with the opposite opinion. It’s very strange, robotic, NPC like behavior.

@0yOlives @slidinlydon The only thing interesting about Massachusetts is, they seem to be exceptionally dysfunctional, and have the least self awareness. I mean, there are KR haters who still defend Proctor… because TB.

JUST IN: Democrats tonight have flipped a GOP-held state House seat in Florida. And not just any seat: This is the district that contains Mar-a-Lago. (It voted for Trump by 11% in 2024). That's right: Trump will now be represented by a Democrat, Emily Gregory, in Tallahassee.

This scumbag thinks it's funny to mock law enforcement involved in a life threatening situation and when asked why she does it all she can do is post stupid gifs. This sums up FKR and FKS perfectly.

@willsommer @grantstern I got into grad school in 2022 on the strength of a very similar argument; that Tim Pool was, and that using a highly curated corpus, and python, I could prove it. Once accepted, my advisor redirected my research passion to lionizing Marx*. Tim proved my thesis for me.

@BoozeyBeauty @DixieNormu95224 If someone can prove she found what was there, which will include crimes perpetrated by Proctor and others*, and she did not report them, she should lose her law license. *Obstruction at the very very least. If elicit images, some sex crimes, too.

@BoozeyBeauty @DixieNormu95224 I can’t wait to see the hoops that McLaughlin ADA woman went through after taking possession of Proctor’s texts, and as she deliberately tried hiding them from other interested parties. Including the public. It’s a banality of corruption problem.

Karen Read’s amended complaint filed on 3/13/26 didn’t quietly update a filing. It pulled the Town of Canton straight into the federal lawsuit. As it stands right now, the defendants are Proctor, Tully, Bukhenik, the house defendants, and now the Town of Canton. Under Massachusetts law, if you want to sue a town for negligence, you have to go through a presentment period and wait 6 months after notice to the agency. In this situation, that deadline runs through May 21. But that rule only applies to state tort claims like negligent hiring or supervision. That is not what she is doing here. 🫠 In this amended complaint, Canton is being brought in under a federal theory of liability, commonly referred to as a Monell claim. That means this is not about pointing to one officer and calling it misconduct. It is about alleging that the municipality itself, through its practices, relationships, or lack of oversight, allowed constitutional violations to occur. And if you read the complaint, that is exactly how it is framed. It lays out that Canton Police were first on scene and did not secure it. It points to the relationships between officers and individuals inside the house. It references the use of the Canton sallyport during the handling of evidence. It describes coordination between Canton officers and state police throughout the investigation. The overall picture being presented is that this was not isolated conduct, but part of a broader failure in how this situation was handled. She also states that she is bringing these claims to confront what occurred and to force accountability for the law enforcement actions tied to this case. That is what allows a town to be named in federal court. And because these are federal civil rights claims, there is no requirement to wait for the presentment period to expire... so Canton is in now. The separate negligence claims against the town would come after May 21, but this move brings them into the case immediately and shifts the focus from individual actions to potential systemic failure.
