I have lots of thoughts about how the Sun ended up in Houston, none of them good. While I’m glad those fans are getting a franchise back, I hate that it’s at the expense of New Englanders, and that the Mohegan tribe was seemingly strong-armed into giving an NBA owner priority.

What happened to the Connecticut Sun is wrong and probably illegal in nearly every jurisdiction in the country.
After reading up on the issue and learning more, it seems like the NBA is forcing a Native American tribe to sell their asset at a discount for the benefit of the league.
I'm extremely frustrated by the entire situation.
Please do not use women's basketball fans in the state of Texas as your punching bag. This is a state that LOVES women's basketball and didn't want it to happen this way either.

Why couldn’t Houston just do expansion? So at least the Sun wouldn’t have to lose their history.
Just don’t understand why New England’s team had to be relocated. It’s unfortunate for fans and I’m still unclear why the Tribe had to accept a lesser offer.
