@Blazykun All of those were half baked, peach and Rosalina barely even spoke more than a line to one another, Bowser went back to being evil again, peach and mario barely interacted.

@KnicksInZero Peach's origins tying back with Rosa's, Mario and Bowser settling their differences with one another, Peach and Mario's relationship Simple arcs, but they were written well.

I have never been so gaslit by critics before I'm sorry, but they're completely wrong about the Mario Galaxy movie. It's actually really good, with a simple but compelling story that provides satisfying arcs, and addresses all of the issues with the first movie

Yup everyone’s right about this movie, while it is gorgeous and fun, it’s horrendously paced, all go and no show, a bare bones story with no room for character moments or even any arcs It’s just stuff happening without any rhyme or reason, again it’s fun but nothing more

The critical reception of the first Mario movie did not match my experience at all, I imagine the same will apply here too. They just don’t get it.

Let me be clear, this isn't just for Mario, but for EVERY movie (animated or live action) that's releasing later in the year. Imagine if your most anticipated film gets screwed and fucked over by terrible critic reviews if it's not out to the public? Or awful films be praised?
