@FormerlyGus Health bars, damage numbers and hitmarkers have been a disaster for FPS damage feedback. They should be banned until devs figure out how to make good damage feedback without them again

@fentrocity @meloneslada I respect that too, I think it's really hard to do regular boss fights in halo. though I do like stronger enemies like hunters and hammer brute chiefdoms being spliced in every few fights, unique enemies that are above elites/brutes but that are not necessary bosses

@Koolschrank @meloneslada I honestly respected the lack of “bosses” in halo CE a ton. Obviously they started to add more as time went on (Scarab, prophet fight, etc.). But Halo 1 was so pure in that sense and made it feel more grounded. The only boss fights were environment based (engines, warthog run).

@RobinPoedev Yeah moster hunter likes should be about a bunch of regular dudes teaming up, prepping and strategizing to hunt down monster that are a lot stronger than them basically advanced cave man hunting, instead all of them a boss fight games with anime combos

@ThatGuyYouKnowF on cortana most of the encounters can be rushed through even on legendary. the game gives you invisibility every two room in that level. i feel the flood levels are designed that you are not meant to kill all of them, you are just suposed to reach the exit without dying

@brkagurabachi I am so glad for how well this community takes the information, everyone is glad and supportive that he takes a break. I hope he gets to see that the community cares for his well being more than constant weekly releases.

Kagurabachi on Hiatus Until August
As everyone has already seen from the official account, Kagurabachi will be going on hiatus until August.
Despite Hokazono-sensei's dedication and determination to keep delivering chapters, the editorial department has decided to prioritize his health and well-being, allowing him to get the rest he needs so he can return to creating the magnificent chapters we've all come to expect.
This is a huge victory, not only for Hokazono-sensei, but also for all of us fans who care deeply about his health. Between overseeing the anime production and creating weekly manga chapters, the workload must be incredibly demanding.
We'll be here waiting, always wishing for his recovery and continued good health. Hokazono-sensei is an amazing author who has changed the lives of so many people through Kagurabachi.
And I'm absolutely certain that there are MANY INCREDIBLE THINGS AHEAD!

inherently being evil, it's just that sometimes they exegerate evil behaviors from the original.
Though the intro scene makes it feel like things that want to kill you are common in the backrooms rather than an oddity of specific circumstances

@sean_gause Games industry is so frustrating cause AI for dev tools or for smaller/simpler scripts is a real time saver but the potential time saved through AI will be used to over scope rather than spending the extra time on refining the human made art

@ChoukaiKaiNi In my prototype I've been playing around with armor ability type utility functions but on weapons. The SMG is a worse AR but it has the ability to sprint which gives it this nice dynamic of downgrading your AR for extra movement. Also it limits sprint to only maps with SMGs

you know for all the hype legendary difficulty gets how many halos even have an actually good legendary experience

3 is fine but too easy imo
4 is dog shit

@vengeful_vadam Eldewrito is interesting cause gameplay vise it's essentially halo 3 with sprint and hitmarkers so you can see the direct impact these mechanics have on the play experience
