@LotharHS @RiotSkram @VALORANT I remember a riot dev in passing when asked “how to not get potentially punished for comms” his response was just never type in chat. I think I benefit from leaving mute enemy chat on in ranked

@RiotSkram @VALORANT If we could remove ALL chat completely during active time of the rounds, that would be great. People are sabotaging games in EU around 50% of the times by typing out positions in ALL chat. ALL chat serves no purpose during a round.

We’re rolling out a fix - messages containing emojis will no longer be delivered to other players, though senders may see them in their own chat. A follow-up hotfix tomorrow will remove emoji functionality. Please back up recent replays before that hotfix goes live.
