🔵 CHARGES LAID 🔵 A man & a woman have been charged after multiple break & enters were reported at the same residence in the northeast community of Marlborough Park. 📍 In early February, multiple break & enters occurred at a detached garage located in the 0 to 100 block of Malvern Crescent N.E. In each incident, suspects forced entry into the garage where they stole property including personal sports equipment & multiple Lego sets worth a total of $18,000. On Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at approx. 9:20 a.m., the victim contacted police to report another break & enter to the same residence that was in progress. Patrol officers immediately responded to the scene & took 2 individuals into custody without incident. A man & woman were charged with the break & enter & were released from custody. In total, 5 break & enters were reported at the residence. Since the arrests, investigators have worked to review evidence from the scene, including CCTV footage. At this time, at least 3 of the break & enters are believed to have been connected & additional warrants have been issued for the earlier break & enters. 🔴 WANTED 🔴 — Jan Joshua ORFINADA, 31, of Calgary, has been charged with 1 count of break & enter. ORFINADA is also wanted on 2 counts of break & enter & 1 count of failing to comply with a release order. 📌 Tina Marija MUSA, 51, of Calgary, has been charged with 1 count each of break & enter, possession of break-in instruments & failing to comply with a release order. MUSA will next appear in court on Friday, March 14, 2025. 🔎 The investigation remains ongoing & we are asking anyone with information about these break & enters to come forward. Additionally, investigators are still working to recover the stolen property, including the Lego sets & ask anyone with information about the whereabouts of the stolen property to also contact police.
