I write therefore I am. I consume books like they are life's breath. Bisexual. GQ. Alien. they/them. Author webpage link below. Profile pic is me writing.

@SDDonovan That's a tough question because more reviews means more exposure, and three-star reviews aren't necessarily bad, but a hundred of them might make some people think twice about reading. On the other hand, people are also less likely to want to try a book with less reviews.

make more queer friends
douse yourself in queer literature & films
study queer history across various cultures
curate your social media algorithms to be unapologetically queer
don’t be too hard on yourself. internalised homophobia is learnt, therefore it can be unlearnt 🫶🏽

@oliviamccabe72 It made one story more difficult because I didn't want to include the pandemic, but it was a slice of life. I ended up abandoning it and haven't worked on it since, but that may change eventually.

I'm curious #writingcommunity, if you were writing during the pandemic, did your productivity go up or down during that time? What influence, if any, has the pandemic had on your writing long-term?

@SusanSavageLee1 Same for me, random pop-ups I can't get rid of except by writing.

Do you actively search for writing ideas or do they just come to you? Mine usually appear at random. No need to go in search of them #writingq #WritingCommunity

@SDDonovan Dialogue, because I people watch a lot and listen to the way everyone talks. I also tend to pay attention to dialog in movies and TV, especially banter.

@byMorganWright You can use the same word multiple times creatively, but yes. It's kinda like that in most instances.

@Lovandfear I used my imagination to concoct a version of events incompatible with reality.

@Armygirl67 I don't know you, but hope a virtual hug from an internet stranger at least helps a little. 🫂
