@sciencegirl The best part of this research is that harvesting it on a large scale would be extremely impractical. Thanks. Hope my tax dollar did not fund this.

Scientists discovered one of the most nutrient-dense substances in nature inside an unlikely source: a cockroach. The species, Diploptera punctata, is unusual because it gives birth to live young instead of laying eggs. During development, the embryos are fed a nutrient-rich, milk-like fluid inside the mother’s body. That fluid forms tiny protein crystals in the embryos’ stomachs. When researchers analyzed the crystals, they found a highly concentrated mix of proteins, fats, sugars, and all 9 essential amino acids required in the human diet. The crystals also appear to release energy slowly during digestion, providing a steady supply of nutrients as the embryos grow. The discovery attracted attention after some reports suggested the substance could be more calorie-dense than mammalian milk, including human breast milk. But scientists have not shown that it offers special health benefits for humans, and harvesting it on a large scale would be extremely impractical. Researchers remain interested in the finding because it demonstrates how evolution can produce unexpected biological adaptations even in one of the world’s most disliked insects. Inside this tiny cockroach species, nature developed microscopic nutrient crystals capable of sustaining life during one of the most demanding stages of development. Don't dogpile this guy. Thank him for being honest. He stated that he changed his mind and now understands that a woman cannot have a penis. We are in the beginning of a mass vehement denial where people deny they ever believed any of it. Reward honesty, esp about idiotic things.

🤯 Listen to this extraordinary exchange between Camilla Tominey and Labour’s Health Secretary James Murray. It is genuinely jaw-dropping. Camilla: “You’re quite pro-trans, aren’t you? Do you think a woman can have a penis? Because you did previously?” Murray: “No, I don’t.” Camilla: “So you’ve changed your mind?” Murray: “Yes.” Camilla: “Why?” Murray stumbles. He says he’s been thinking about the issue over recent years and would not now say trans women are women. Camilla hits back: “You must have known that before. You are very well educated. How on earth can you have previously thought that a woman can have a penis?” He had no real answer. Because there isn’t one. This is not some backbench MP. This is the Secretary of State for Health, the man responsible for the entire NHS, puberty blocker policy, women’s health services, and child safeguarding. He spent years either believing or pretending to believe that biological sex is fluid and that women can have penises. Only now, when the Cass Review, court rulings, and public opinion have made that position politically toxic, has he magically “changed his mind”. Think about the damage done while he held that view. The eroded women’s rights. The confused children fast-tracked toward hormones and surgery. The female prisoners and athletes forced to share spaces with biological males. All enabled or ignored by senior Labour figures like him. This level of ideological delusion at the very top of government is not just embarrassing, it is dangerous. Basic biology should never have been up for debate, let alone something a Health Secretary had to “evolve” on.

@robinmonotti @UEFA Article 27, the "Suspension of Implementation of Disciplinary Measures," allowed for FIFA to review the automatic red card suspension, and essentially delay it for a year. Go USA.

.@UEFA statement on the Balogun case, July 6, 2026 "Yesterday’s decision to suspend for a probationary period of a year the implementation of the one-match automatic suspension following the red card issued to the player Folarin Balogun crossed a red line. Football, like any other sports, relies on rules, which are the basis for fair, honest and transparent competition. Sometimes rules are open to interpretation. In this case not. A minimum automatic suspension of one match following a red card is not a discretionary option and does not require the decision of a competent body to be enacted. It is a principle embedded in regulations, which cannot be made subject to exceptions, let alone in the middle of a tournament where several other players have been in the same situation and regularly served their suspension. When the certainty of rules is no longer guaranteed by its guardians, the integrity of the game is at stake and the credibility of a competition is undermined. Equally, such decision creates a precedent in the ongoing tournament, where similar situations will now require an equal treatment, to the detriment of the competition. Football is the most loved sport in the world because it is a beautiful game and is trusted because it is played everywhere with the same laws. A tournament is never a pure standalone and, if the tournament in question is the World Cup, it has the power to drive positive or negative consequences on the game as a whole. We express our disbelief at such an unprecedented, incomprehensible and unjustifiable decision."
