@jamesonhaslam I took two weeks unpaid time off for my first born. Got a call the Friday before I went back tellingbme I was laid off. Would have been nice to know that before hand as I may not have splurged as much on certain items we needed for the newborn..

Job situation got my mind somewhere else. Being laid off makes you feel lesser than. Makes you feel like you were never suitable for the industry you were in. Thought that trip to south carolina would've cheered me up, doing what i love (scouting). But coming back home to reality, I realize nothing has changed. My faith in God, deteriorating. Prayers almost never get answered. "He never puts more on your plate than you can handle", yeah right (paraphrasing whatever that saying or bible verse was). I'm reaching my breaking point. Variety of other reasons to not wanna be here anymore, but I'm too cowardly to go through with it. So here I am left suffering and going on in a worthless existence where this so called God refuses to give me guidance. And for what? Probably to bless the many much more horrible human beings walking this earth. That's what confuses me the most.
