So, tonight @ChuckProphet at @thecluny, just a beautiful night. You had to be there. Saturday night. In Newcastle. The long awaited return of Chuck. A finely tuned Mission Express on top form. An enthusiastic, warm hearted crowd. Just about perfect ❤️

Thanks for all the questions. This has been fun. Just a reminder that this tour kicks off next week. @AbePartridge is one of my favourite songwriters... and I'm no slouch in that department either. Not a lot of tickets left across these shows. #tour" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">davidfordmusic.com/#tour

It’s just great to have @ChuckProphet back in the UK. The band was on fire at @Nath_Brudenell last night. Looking forward to @thecluny at the weekend

@500SongsPodcast Loved this episode, in what is already a superb series, these last two episodes have been outstanding histories. The poetic patchwork of this one brings something new. Still don’t get the Dead though 🤷🏻♂️

And the first main episode in six weeks is now up! But it's a *LONG* one. Four and a half hours on planning law, the works of Kurt Vonnegut, ARPANET and Scientology, it can only be "Dark Star" by the Grateful Dead.

Patreon backers now have access to a twenty-minute bonus podcast on "Codine" by the Charlatans, the 60s San Francisco band who could have been huge... if they'd just released any records.

@MarcDavenant Agree, I sense a twitter light has been shone on bad things but not so much on good things. Many LAs are actually becoming more empowered for the good on nature issues, but (like climate change initiatives), not everyone like this.
English

@MarcDavenant The image of public sector environmentalists has gone very quickly from hard left greenies trying to stop economic development and house building to the actual perpetrators of attacks on nature. Maybe worth thinking about why that has happened. Twitter, eh?
English

@MarcDavenant In day to day business, council tree officers are more often criticised for being over protective of trees (TPOs etc) where residents and developers want them gone.
