In the early 70s I was in line behind a grown-ass man at Burger King. He said, “I’d like the hot ham and cheese” The clerk said, “The Yumbo?” The man repeated, “Yes, the hot ham and cheese.” The clerk said, “You want the Yumbo is that right?” Rather than say the hated word, he stepped out of line and (I assume) went somewhere else.
