Steam Machine pricing is brutal. I know we saw it coming in this awful state of the current market but it still sucks. I'm a huge believer in the idea of this device for certain types of players, but I think this price defeats that purpose. Tough sell. I wish they could've waited. The backlash sprang from an "incorrectly" word blog post that Halo Studios has since clarified: "We incorrectly stated that PlayStation Plus is required for local co-op splitscreen play.
