@higgledygarden I hated how Instagram was changing til I realised that if you click on the word Instagram at the top of your home page you can choose 'following' and it cuts out all the unwanted stuff. Have been using Vero for a couple of weeks..like insta used to be.

I wish Instagram would allow folk to only have still photos in their feed rather than these really bloody tiresome reels.....my attention is moving away from the platform as it is losing the classy thing it had. I'm hearing #Vero is gaining traction&deal with these issues.....?

@higgledygarden I’ve been feeling exactly the same! Constant videos are so taxing and overwhelming. I’m only on Instagram to see nice pictures of gardens. I don’t need to see people leaping around being entertaining.

@johncutlefish Sometimes the realisation comes to you that you can’t fix the dysfunction. Unfortunately this is often after a serious toll on your mental health. I hope I’m in a better place now to see the distinction between something I can impact and something I can’t much more quickly.
