@MartinSLewis We don’t want to get married. We wondered, in the police 1987 scheme how is this possible? It’s 2024, why do we need to get married just so the government doesn’t get the benefit back? Is there a way round it? It’s ridiculous. We shouldn’t have to do it? 2/2

@MartinSLewis friend sent me your Pension advice clips today. My partner of 7 years is in a police pension (28 years in, less than 2years left) & friend suggests we don’t have to get married for me to get a widows pension (sorry depressing, we know). 1/2
