📊 The Brexit majority hasn’t just slipped 👉it’s vanished. Completely. This chart from Peter Kellner/YouGov shows: • 5 million 2016 voters have died • New young voters back Rejoin by 5:1 • 29% of Leave voters now want to rejoin • Net result: Rejoin 19.8m vs Stay Out 11.7m ➡️ An 8 MILLION majority for Rejoin. Britain is now a pro-EU country. The only people keeping Brexit alive are politicians who benefit from the damage.

9 years on, Brexit no longer has a mandate. The Leave majority has literally died out. New analysis shows: 🔹 +8 million majority now want to rejoin 🔹 Brexit has shrunk the UK economy by 8% 🔹 Only 25% of Leave voters think it was a success 🔹 The 2025 “reset” fixes less than one-tenth of the damage And yet Westminster still behaves as if 2016 voters - many no longer with us - outrank the young, the living, and the future. Brexit is being kept alive by a political class that gains from it, not by the public. thenewworld.co.uk/peter-kellner-…

🇳🇴 Norway is wealthy because it made smart decisions on oil and gas keeping control and building a sovereign fund. And now even Norway recognises that in dangerous times, security comes from being inside the EU tent.
NXT EU@NXT4EU

Norwegian's conservatives argue Norway should join the EU! They argue that Norway faces security challenges, and joining the EU would guarantee the country's security. “We would be best served by being full members of the EU"

When 3.5% of a population actively participates in sustained, peaceful protest, it can topple authoritarian regimes — like the one currently in the Oval Office. We need 12 million people to show up on March 28 to get to 3.5%. Will you be one of them? Find out how at nokings.org

While London may want to rejoin, areas like mine that voted 70% to leave definitely do not. In an increasingly divided world, the last thing we need is to divide the country all over again by restarting this debate.

Most senior Labour figure yet to openly call for party to put rejoining EU in next election manifesto. Will others now follow? (Very few even say this privately - but it’s a long time until the next election)…

🇲🇽🇨🇺 BREAKING: Mexico will send oil to Cuba. Trump's blockade has fallen. 60 years of embargo. 60 years of trying to starve an island. Now Mexico breaks the siege. Oil shipments. Solidarity. Sovereignty. The US can sanction. Can threaten. Can block. But neighbors help. Neighbors deliver. Neighbors don't forget. Cuba has been alone too long. Mexico just changed that. The blockade isn't gone. But it's cracked. And cracks spread. Mexico sends oil. The world watches. The empire fumes. Solidarity wins. Every time.

He took the greatest military force in world history, lost a war to a middle power in a week, begged the world to save him, and demanded that the media lie about this and everything else. I try, but at a simple human level I do not see how anyone can mistake this man’s almost supernatural weakness for strength. His weakness is something negative, gravitational, so deep that it can draw in a whole country. But only if we fail to see it. Only if we let it.

England is now the only country in Europe that doesn't financially support its farmers to produce food. Surely Trump's conflict in the Middle East and Putin's invasion of Ukraine show how utterly vital our food security is? The Government needs to wake up and back our farmers.

⚠️ Bookmark this moment, it will come back to haunt this govt. @timfarron exposes Brexit impact on our food security: Britain produces barely half the food it eats and the government still isn’t taking food security seriously. All European farmers receive subsidies to encourage them to grow food apart from English 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 farmers. Trump’s Iran war is about to unleash huge food emergencies as fertiliser becomes scarce which will see yields plummet by at least half. Since Brexit, food production is collapsing and the supposed farming minister prefers to deflect with absurd ramblings about local markets.

@JamieFonzarelli @timfarron It’s about food - every country in the world subsidises food. You’re about to learn about food scarcity, food crisis is becoming inevitable.

Thatcher (1979–1990) implemented a quota management system that allowed retiring fishermen to sell their licenses. This allowed foreign companies, notably from Spain, Holland, and France, to acquire over half of the UK's fishing quotas, leading to the "quota-hopper" issue. Thatcher signed up to the 1983 CFP, which cemented the national quotas system based on 1970s catch records.
Privatisation and Foreign Ownership: In 1980/90s, quotas were increasingly treated as tradable property. As older fishermen retired, they sold their licenses to, or formed partnerships with, foreign interests (quota hopping). Quota Hoppers: By 1999, substantial amounts of the UK quota, particularly for pelagic fish, were acquired by foreign owners. A 2018 Greenpeace report stated that nearly 80% of England’s fishing quota was held by foreign owners or by a few wealthy individuals.  The initial 1973 entry into the EEC, followed by Thatcher-era management, and subsequent governments allowed vast amounts of British fishing opportunities to fall under foreign control.
The industry widely considers that Thatcher’s government and later administrations overlooked the interests of the fishing sector to protect other economic areas, such as City of London.

@LizWebsterSBF @timfarron Another lie. The EU demands access to British fishing waters. The EU destroyed the British fishing industry. Which you don't care about.

We are in overproduction of sheep meat! The UK sheep sector is deeply dependent on export markets especially the EU. •We produce more lamb than we consume •The EU takes a large share of higher-value cuts •Halal demand exists in both markets. 👉 Brexit added friction: Export delays, Extra costs, Veterinary checks, Lost market confidence 👉 And now the situation is worse: Farmers must meet EU standards to export But at home: Compete with imports produced to lower standards 👉 So yes demand spikes at Eid. But the real issue is can British farmers access markets efficiently and profitably year-round? Right now, the answer is increasingly no.
