Never thought I'd talk about this, but here we are. Being Dutch I'm well aware of this statue that's been placed in Rotterdam a couple of years ago. Nobody liked nor wanted it, yet the govs took it as a win. It was sold to us under the guise of representation.

@TheChocoboRacer @Yoshi_6769 @Skellerific @blacknredtext Nearly every RE game has ways to make subsequent playthroughs easier. In fact, once you've played it once there's a drastic decrease in difficulty simply because you know where to go and how to better make use of resources. RE4 doesn't even have that many puzzles.

@LoadedEnjoyer @Yoshi_6769 @Skellerific @blacknredtext No it doesn't. Item management is scaled back significantly, RE6 has very few puzzles, nearly 0 backtracking sections, and worst of all, it has a mechanic that actively makes every subsequent run through of the game 100% easier.

@nsfwfurry2026 I'm not going to defend it because it fails as a remake on so many fronts, however so do RE2R and RE4R. When you look at it outside the RE-vacuum it's fun to run through once in a while, but by no means does it succeed. I do enjoy it for what it is.

@ScottishSean97 That's cool, meanwhile I love every mainline RE title in their own way. I've gone through with four different friends and none of them found the game outright bad. It's one thing to dislike a game. Another to claim anything is "bad". Different strokes for different folks.
