@datgi47 @blacknredtext It certainly is a hot mess, but that's my point too. I didn't say it is a great RE game. I simply feel the game gets hated simply because of the name. Once you move past the vacuum what's left is a pretty fun action game that really benefits from the co-op. Also Mercs.

@LoadedEnjoyer @blacknredtext Never played RE6 with a friend, personally I enjoyed it, but let's face it, it's a hot mess. I'm not saying it's bad, just look at my pre Requiem tier list (it would be an S) it's not my least favorite whatsoever.. but you can tell too many cooks were in that kitchen

@SBLAST91 The point of my post is that the game does have some merit in multiplayer. Mercs is fun, best in any RE game imo. The game simply fails as a RE game. Think outside the vacuum and it's a solid multiplayer action game though.

@SBLAST91 I've seen others say the game had connection issues as well. Personally never had anything happen to me over the four machines I've played it on (PS3, PS4, PS5, pc), but I'm not ruling it out. That honestly does suck. I agree with your general sentiment btw. 1/2

My main issue with Resident Evil 6 is that it's a game that is close to being fun but misses the mark in many aspects. The gun play is great, and its at its best in mercenaries but the main story is way too long for its own good with too much padding. ESPECIALLY for a coop game.

@Mid0ri111 @blacknredtext I made this post knowing full well what the comments were going to be. This game has been getting blasted like that since it came out and it never sit right with me. Again, the game fails as a RE game, but as a game it has a certain quality that really comes out in multiplayer.

Mercs is the best in 6 too, so that alone is enough of a reason to not just disregard the game. Paroting Youtubers who played it solo for their essay isn't good.

@Hoffa9k @blacknredtext This point has been made by a lot of you, but it's honestly dumb because you can and SHOULD absolutely judge the quality of a game with that in mind. It's part of the game and meant to be played like that. It's nonsense to not judge a game based on the whole package.
