@SnDMediaNews @mdmak33 Nonsense, it is like trying to push back the tide with a hayfork to remain so blind to the reality of what is happening and how helpless the Govt, any Govt, is to do much about it..

Fuel Crisis Meeting in Manorhamilton Erupts as Speaker Sums Up National Frustration Hundreds of locals packed Bee Park Community Centre in Manorhamilton this evening for an emergency public meeting on Ireland’s spiralling fuel costs, the latest in a series of grassroots gatherings highlighting the anger of farmers, hauliers, contractors and ordinary motorists. Organised amid mounting pressure on the government to tackle diesel and petrol prices, the Leitrim event followed a similarly packed meeting in Portlaoise last weekend that drew more than 400 people demanding immediate relief. The mood was raw and determined. Attendees voiced fears that rising fuel bills are pushing rural businesses and families to breaking point, with many blaming the carbon tax and what they see as a disconnect between Dublin policymakers and the realities of life outside the capital. Christopher Duffy, a vocal campaigner who has helped organise the meetings, took the microphone and delivered what many in the room described as a powerful summary of the frustration felt across Ireland. In a speech captured on video and widely shared on social media, Duffy told the crowd: “We have a government that will wave any flag bar the Irish flag. They’re waving free Palestine flags-by the time we’re finished they will be waving free Dublin flags. We’re locking her down.” His words drew strong applause and nods of agreement from the audience, many of them men in work jackets and hi-vis vests who had come straight from farms, trucks or building sites. The reference to “locking her down” was understood by those present as a call for coordinated protest action, potentially bringing parts of Dublin or key infrastructure to a standstill, if the government fails to act. The meeting, which had been publicised in the days leading up to Easter weekend, was one of the final planned gatherings in the current wave of fuel protests. Organisers had urged hauliers, contractors and motorists from across the northwest to attend and “have their say”. Similar events in recent weeks have seen growing numbers turning out, with speakers repeatedly calling for the immediate suspension or removal of the carbon tax on fuel to protect jobs and keep rural Ireland moving. Campaigners argue that without urgent intervention, small farms and transport businesses face collapse. As the meeting ended, the message from Manorhamilton rang out loud and clear: Ireland’s fuel crisis has reached boiling point. Ordinary citizens are no longer prepared to stay silent. Final plans are now being prepared for Tuesday’s national shutdown.

@ABridgen @Zero_9873 This is article about Ireland, and the Irish Government switching from very exorbitant private and commercial suppliers who charge 120,000euro on average per person over the average period State owned reception centres will be less than half that..

A family home was demolished in Navan 2 weeks ago because it had no planning. Now we hear the government is going to build 6 super sized IPAS centres without any planning permission at all. This is a disgrace. Aontú will introduce a bill to return planning to all IPAS centres.

🚨🇮🇪 Happening now in Dublin: Islamic extremists advocating for FGM death penalty for apostasy, and stoning of women. Note the presence of Lynn Boylan SF MEP, Abubaker Abed, Stephen Redmond and the Islamic extremist from Turkey who spoke at Maynooth recently. ‘One especially controversial figure is Haitham al-Haddad, an Islamic scholar and longstanding judge at the Islamic Sharia Council, Europe's fırst Sharia court, based in Leyton, east London. He is also the chair of the 'Fatwa Committee' at the Islamic Council of Europe. An investigation by The Times in 2018 revealed that he has given instructions on how to conduct female genital mutilation and he wants the death penalty for apostasy. He believes that Muslims cannot integrate with Western culture. He has also claimed that Western women who have committed adultery have frequently begged' him to be taken to an Islamic country, where they could be stoned to death, so as to avoid eternal punishment in hell. According to a BBC report from 2012, Haddad's Islamic Sharia Council adjudicates as many as 300 disputes a month.’

@Capt_of_Sense @MattMal08096808 @rtenews I didn’t get vaxed purely because my gut instinct told me it was wrong. I might wasn’t my choice to be shunned or barred from restaurants or pubs that you could go into if you bought a 9€ meal. Jesus it was laughable if it wasn’t for the poor unfortunate people who died Alone

Exactly. While Ireland shovels another €40 million total €65M this year to Ukraine and tells its own people to freeze and conserve fuel, Europe and the UK scream about rising prices and blame Trump. They won’t drill the North Sea, won’t clear the straits so oil flows freely, and refuse energy independence on purpose. This isn’t Trump’s fault it’s deliberate. Our leaders are playing a sick game, fund a foreign war with blank cheques, sabotage domestic energy, then gaslight their own citizens. Priorities are crystal clear, foreigners first, voters last. Wake up
Real News Éire@real_eire

The Irish government has 40 million for Ukraine. The Irish people get an information campaign. Their priorities are not with the Irish people with an energy crisis looming.

A 15 year old boy in Ireland has been charged with DEFILEMENT because his girlfriend was only 14 when they both "engaged in sexual acts" together. Now he's about to face a criminal trial for it and if found guilty will have a criminal record and probably be on the sex offenders register for life. He was only 15, she was only 7 months younger than him and was turning 15 herself 3 months later, so at one stage they were both 14 at the same time. Meanwhile the Irish courts are allegedly letting migrant paedophiles walk free from sexual offences just because they "didn't know any better" and "nobody told us it was illegal when we got here". This entire thing is wrong.
