@JohnRad15 @AliceBright_ @KellMorrHK Who else will control land ownership if it's neither the individual nor the State ? You wouldn't be shortsighted enough to suggest it's "The Collective™️" that owns and shares land now would you.
What about IP can you own that? Why is land so important, if you can rent it that works too, a lot of businesses rent their real estate. You’re presenting an aniquated communist take from an agricultural economy. If you abolish all significant ownership, then yes you have eliminated both capitalism but also free trade, because once the trade is done you have no way to store your wealth or even retain control of the process (factory, research lab etc) that created the value gradient in the first place.
Every failed communist experiment gets the same excuse: “That wasn’t real communism.” If every attempt at building a plane ended in a crash, at what point do you stop blaming the pilots and start questioning the design?
