Morning after dental surgery: Oddly (and happily) no pain. A little sensitivity, but no pain, no swelling, no bruising. Made coffee, had to let it cool to 'warm' because 'no hot beverages until the stitches dissolve; about 8 days. Soft foods only; nothing crunchy or chewy (sigh)

@OhHowByronic 34k and it’s a fix to a bad full upper done in 2013 that cost me $28k. I knew since the day the first one was done I was going to have to replace it. Unfortunately, the dentist who did the original drop dead a month after the initial work. Something told me I was feeding a habit.

@OhHowByronic I found that homemade garlic mashed potatoes with homemade gravy never tasted so good. I just made a huge batch of that and froze some. Unfortunately, my dental work involved the entire top of my mouth. I wasn’t offered sedation other than local. The bill is astronomical.

Now, however, they exercise their intrusive thoughts in full public view. They literally expose themselves.

@OhHowByronic @CrossBiddy What annoys me is these kinds of people who, for their worldview alone, give themselves the right to bother people, to inflict themselves on children and to justify it with this kind of nonsense. I have designs for these kinds of people that are not legal but brutally effective.

@OhHowByronic Just did this. I’m still waiting for a temporary and slowly melting away. Soft food for six weeks has been no joke and I wasn’t even overweight. Hope you feel better soon

@JustMeagain24 Dental surgery is private here unless there's an overarching medical risk. Since I have none, it's out of pocket for me. Fortunately, it's also tax-deductible from extraction, to implant and crown.

@OhHowByronic Ah definitely 👍 They don't offer sedation here (unless you go private) cant afford implants. Expensive beggars they are 😲 Foetunately still got most of my own

@JustMeagain24 I opted for the sedation. I didn't feel like listening to the sounds. The Dr. froze everything once I was out like a light - in 4 months, when they put the implant in, I'm going to opt for the sedation again. Besides, it's a nice little nap.

@OhHowByronic Had that done, last year. Nil sedation, just local and pull. Ah..the crunching noise as it squeaks against your jawbone 😉 Stitches are good. Heals better. Enjoy your salt water rinses.

I have an unhealthy number of questions. Like…are the sizes small, medium, large based on hips...or are we measuring the package? Because clarity matters.
