@robvanhoff @DaveMacfadyen @BladeoftheS Billionaires are a net negative and drain on society. Their hoarding of wealth and resources while building bunkers for when their actions cause collapse has a negative impact on society as whole. Without their exploitation of underdeveloped nations they would have nothing.

Most of it yes, I did. You know anyone who is starving? “Control of production” is a kind of labor. Why don’t you just join an Amish community or something similar, if you want to enjoy the direct fruits of your labor? I reject the “billionaires are bad” trope. It sounds like children playing with Duplo Legos pretending they’re modelling reality.

People don't understand Marx's theory of Labour so here it is. In short, there should be no profit for people who don't do any work. It should all be split among the workers. You would think Capitalists would love that. But of course they hate it.

@LyonPryde92 @DaveMacfadyen @BladeoftheS Of course! I value the important people in my life and my relationships with them. I value playing guitar and writing music. I value long quiet walks at sunrise. Markets not involved in these.

@LyonPryde92 @DaveMacfadyen @BladeoftheS Workers and labor only contribute value if other people are free to buy their products, or not. A hard worker who produces things no one is interested in buying needs to change his course otherwise he will starve. You use smartphones and X…products of capitalism.

@LyonPryde92 @DaveMacfadyen @BladeoftheS 😂 Do you think that guns and knives kill people? Tax dollars don’t invent or produce anything. Smart people invent and produce. If tax dollars accomplished anything then Gavin Newscum’s multi billion dollar speed rail in CA would be up and running and successful!

@PaulRS123 @mcsquared34 Coops fail at a lower rate than private businesses. Workers would hire people to fill positions that are in charge of planning ahead. You know like I said. They would hire people with business degrees and economics degrees to plan ahead. Not consult but to actively plan.

@LyonPryde92 @mcsquared34 CEOs may think year-to-year, or decade-to-decade. A staff level worker, or new hire may think week-to-week, or maybe quarter-to-quarter.

@PaulRS123 @mcsquared34 Except statistically they are less likely to bankrupt or fail than private business. Your statement is true for any business. Private businesses fail all of the time at a higher rate than coops

@LyonPryde92 @mcsquared34 Intentionally, no they won't bankrupt a business or a co-op. Unintentionally, through short-term planning, or inexperience, they may.

@Ravenismeee The funniest thing is that its American manufacturers in china that choose the specs and materials used. They often use the cheapest materials possible, because they knkw they can just blame china. There are tons of high quality products produced in china.

@robvanhoff @DaveMacfadyen @BladeoftheS Smartphones and the internet were funded a developed by the government. With smartphones it was a collaboration between government and private. So tax dollars developed cell phones and the internet. This is such a childish argument you are making.

Says the smartphone guy posting on X 😂 You’re using products developed and maintained by capitalists for people who can’t wait purchase them, who enjoy using them. What have you invented which people voluntarily pay you for? Why don’t you criticise the millionaires? Why only billionaires?

@PaulRS123 @mcsquared34 So I proved your whole point wrong and you dont acknowledge it, figures. Workers wont bankrupt a coop because its not in their interest. In fact they often take pay cuts and decreased benefits when their conpany is struggling. Unlike capitalists who often take bonuses.

@LyonPryde92 @mcsquared34 Great (not sarcastic). It's good to have one more competitor for customers to choose from. Maybe the successful ones require a level of seniority for voting on how the co-op moves forward.

@mcsquared34 Real socialism doesn't use other people money. It hands the means of production to the workers. How this is done differs system to system, but the best way imo is to let workers democratically control their workplace through coops.

@Rudy78417576 @mcsquared34 The government is a capitalist state that protects capitalist interests such as private property. Capitalism can not and never has functioned without a state to enforce the rules of capital.

@PaulRS123 @mcsquared34 Based on the available data, cooperatives (co-ops) appear to go bankrupt or fail at significantly lower rates than traditional private businesses. The data from multiple countries consistently shows that co-ops have a higher survival rate.

@LyonPryde92 @mcsquared34 If workers can vote out consultants (saving money), they will and take that money for themselves. Yes, I'm misanthropic. But, is voting yourselves raises that would bankrupt a company a realistic scenario? When it's bankrupt, move on to another company.

@LyonPryde92 @mcsquared34 If the workers were in control, they'd all vote themselves raises until the company is bankrupt. Billionaires are greedy. So are the poor. Mamdani was elected for his promises: free childcare, free buses, cheaper rent, cheaper food,... Many people are short-term thinkers.

@PaulRS123 @mcsquared34 No it's not a realistic scenario. It's a scenario you made up in your head. You're explaining what capitalists often do to businesses. You don't know that is what workers will do, And they won't because its illogical and dumb af. Your disdain for workers is showing.

@PaulRS123 @mcsquared34 Workers controlling the means of production doesn't mean that every worker will make every decision. They will still hire people to make the decisions or vote them Into place. But workers can vote them out at anytime.

@LyonPryde92 @mcsquared34 Yes, there are business consultants - experts with business degrees. That's WHY workers shouldn't control production. The C-Suite and consultants should.

@LyonPryde92 @RandomPerson242 @mcsquared34 Any reliable business aims to make money. That's why EU healthcare is so unreliable & the service is so bad. You aren't the one paying directly so they have insufficient incentive to make you satisfied. LOL at you thinking that EU (public) healthcare trumps Brazilian private.

@retardinho66 @RandomPerson242 @mcsquared34 Healthcare shouldn't be a business model for profit. The EU isn't one place with one system. You're trying to compare multiple systems to one system. This is a logical fallacy. Brazil's private Healthcare is dog shit.
