Margarine peaked in the 1980s. The so-called "war on fat" when Americans were told that eating fat made you fat, so they got rid of all the fat and replaced it with corn syrup, which, of course, made everyone obese. Today, butter is more available than margarine. "Eat real food" has taken over, with some effort towards "lowering carbs", so these days people prefer butter. Margarine is still easy to find and popular but "real butter" is now more common than margarine.

@aoisora_zzz I've done that. But in my case it was more like I had to work with someone I did not like, so I was nice to them, but as soon as I got onto a different team and did not have to work with them anymore, I avoided them as hard as I could.

Exactly why Elon should buy Reddit. It's a valid alternative format to X, and is better for topics and discussions. Step 1, unban everyone. Step 2, remove all human moderators and replace them with Grok. When you make a subreddit, you can set your rules, and Grok will enforce them as stated. People can still have their little enclaves. @nikitabier I also think that if someone is @'d in a post, and that person replies, it should be the top most visible reply regardless of any other factors.

We're rolling out a small tweak to boost visibility of your posts to your mutuals (people who you follow back). We noticed this data was missing from the algo and it made your friends appear less in your replies. This resulted in the reply section feeling more like a battleground with people you don't recognize. This should also help clusters form around interests more easily, which many people have asked for.
