@Kshi_nippon 100% would not work in America. I'm fairly convinced it's already starting to break down in Japan, as Japan brings in increasing numbers of foreigners who are not going to adapt to Japanese lifestyle or culture.

One thing that confuses many foreigners about Japan 🇯🇵 There are surprisingly few public trash cans. And yet… the streets are still incredibly clean. Many Japanese people simply carry their trash home with them. For them, keeping shared spaces clean is just common sense. Could this work in your country?

This did not exist in the comics. The show makes more sense if you first understand the creator, @therealKripke who, by his own admission, viewed Homelander as Donald Trump himself and is absolutely obsessed with Trump. Making Homelander obsessed with milk, especially breast milk, was Kripke's way of, in his own mind, humiliating Trump. So next time you think about something in the show that doesn't really make sense, is dumb as hell, and detracts from the story, just remember you are seeing Kripke's personal obsessions and how it derailed a whole series with bad writing.

@EricLDaugh There should be terrorism laws that apply here. It is 100% their intent: to terrorize ICE agents into not going into work. Just because they aren't blowing things up doesn't mean it's not terrorism. Illegally blocking streets is also a form of terrorism.

We need to resolve charging issues. Where I live is detached parking. I have no way to plug in. Not sure I want an EV if I have to rely on public charging options. This could change with FSD and induction chargers though. If I can go home, and send my car out to recharge itself, I would get a Tesla tomorrow. Kinda hoping my next car might be a Robotaxi but I'll be surprised if the legislative loops have been bypassed in the next 10 years. Especially in my state: the People's Republic of Maryland, where they hate all EVs because Musk Man Bad.

I don’t understand why every vehicle isn’t a hybrid. Why not use regenerative braking to charge a battery in every car? Huge increase in gas mileage. Why do they still make non-hybrids?

Same reason I can't watch anything with @pattonoswalt in it anymore. The irony is that our strength was the "melting pot" -- the way America turned diversity into a strong monoculture that got things done.
