La bonne nouvelle est que je ne vais pas me lever tôt pour rien : la France s’oppose à une homologation anticipée à échelle nationale du FSD, il faudra attendre que l’Union européenne tranche (et voir si la France et l’Allemagne s’opposent). numerama.com/vroom/2233809-…

@wholemars Recent approval in Netherlands was strictly for HW4. So v14 Lite won't change anything, still old hardware. This will have to be re-tested and re-approved which is not certain. Also what Lite means? For me it sounds like less safety.

Une fois de plus vous racontez de la merde. Non le FSD n’a pas été validé par l’Europe mais par la RDW qui est l’autorité néerlandaise. Maintenant la RDW va présenter son dossier à la commission européenne pour espérer le faire valider au niveau européen et donc bénéficier du FSD à l’ensemble des pays

He does not care about HW3 owners/loaners. Same for Australia and New Zealand I have a 2 years old Model Y 2024 with HW3 and stuck with it until the end of 2028 I have been fucked once but won’t be twice. I will buy another brand I have bought EAP and I would have bought FSD day one but if you have HW3 you’re screwed

@shortword It’s unacceptable that Europe got delivered hw until I think late 2024. I got a 2024 MY with hw3. For me it does not matter as I’m getting a new from the lease but all the people who bought the car and cannot use FSD now that it’s approved

Ok, so the dutch peeps with HW3 aren't happy. They're gathering data for a class action. The website can be found here: hw3claim.nl In fairness, they make good points. it's concise and to the point. Tesla said they'd deliver X if you paid Y. Customers paid Y but didn't get X.

@M1551LE @Tesla_AI At this point, V14 takeovers are almost never critical safety interventions. I am driving around LA this week and all the interventions are map or nav errors, like turning into the wrong parking lot entrance because it's right next to the correct one.

Basic Autopilot is so dangerous with all these phantom brakings! My wife was using it on the way back home, and we had a big phantom braking someone almost rear-ended us!!!! How come Tesla and regulators still allow this shit on our roads in Europe? It's the outdated legacy software that hasn't been properly updated in years, while much smarter versions (and FSD Supervised) are rolling out in the US and now finally around the corner here too after the Dutch approval. Many owners report it happening weekly, especially on highways or near trucks and shadows. A German court even ruled it "defective" and not suitable for normal use! Some people might misinterpret this as just the "shorty" version of Autopilot, but it's the old problematic stack not the new FSD that's coming…. Delete it, or update it to something smarter if you don’t want to delete it for Europe like you guys are doing in the US!! AP = DISGRAZIA

C’est à cause de leur lenteur que Tesla justement a choisi de passer par l’UE et la France via l’UTAC/CNRV pourra reconnaître l’exemption néerlandaise avant décision au niveau de l’UE
