@clipka_ @emilynussbaum He wouldn’t have purchased Twitter if he didn’t think he could make it profitable. Also, the idea behind the $8 has been primarily to raise the barrier to entry into the platform. He mentioned it during today’s space.

@emilynussbaum it's really silly that he on the one hand insists that as the richest man in the world he bought twitter for the good of civilization but also that users need to pay to be on it AND they have to deal with ads selling them shit using the data that they'd never willingly give.
