News about this year's hop harvest.

Our next meeting will be this Thursday 13th at the Hillary Step in Whalley Range, 8pm. As usual bring beers to try or just join us to sample them. The Step has an amazing range of 24 beers to keep us busy too!

Fyi anyone who has bought a new hop plant but missed the email.

If you are an existing Hop Project member please check your email.

@hooch303 It's probably not an issue. We can test them at harvest time just to check they are suitable for brewing.

@MCRHopProject Hi. I’m from Stockport. I’m afraid I’m not sure of the variety, is that going to be an issue?

@MCRHopProject how do I get involved in this years hop project. I grow hops on my allotment every year and never do anything with them. Here is a picture from a few years ago.

Who fancies growing some of these this year? Last year we got 75kg from our growers around Manchester and @trackbrewingco turned them into lovely beer. This year we want more! If you want to join in get in touch 🍻

Since our first crop in 2018 (a massive 14.6kg) we have now harvested over 288kg of Manchester grown hops 🍻
