Morning. Pouring with rain here. I'm not heading out today but will leave you with a couple of pics from a recent #pub visit. Enough to make you ill 🤢 New manager/staff since last visit. Gone from 5⭐ rating to this in a few months. Staff need training and competent Management.

@pub_that Agreed prices with new wholesaler in November, ordered and planned new beers and installs in December, installed new font and extra lines in January. Programmed till and started serving. Wholesale prices up 7% since agreeing them. There's no winning right now.

So before we even hit April’s increases in wage bills, NI & biz rates, we are currently getting letters from pub cos regarding the February duty increases, also implemented by the chancellor. 3.66 % in line with RPI. And don’t even get me started on Guinness.

Having just tackled both Tescos and Waitrose I have earned this fine pint of @GreeneKingIPA Abbot Reserve 6.5%ABV. A good strong ale, slight sweetness but not cloying. First time I've seen it on draught this month. Cheers 🍻🎄🎅
