The 91st @LSUAgCenter Livestock Show is officially a wrap! More than 1,200 Louisiana youth showcased their hard work this week, reminding us that the future of Louisiana agriculture is bright. Thank you to our AgCenter team, and congratulations to all exhibitors and winners!

I had the opportunity to speak at the Louisiana Agricultural Technology & Management Conference earlier this week, where I shared how the LSU AgCenter is driving innovation and supporting agriculture across our state. Grateful for the conversations and collaboration.

Yesterday, I welcomed Executive VP & Chancellor Dr. James Dalton to learn more about the impactful work of the @LSUAgCenter. He met with our research and extension teams along with our elite faculty. We appreciate his support of Louisiana agriculture!

Spent some time today with Dr. Jeff Plumlee, who is the recipient of the Early Career Fellowship by the Gulf Research Program of @theNASEM. For the unfamiliar, this is next level. This level of excellence inspires me, and makes LSU and the @LSUAgCenter a better place.

Thrilled to welcome Louisiana’s 4‑H and FFA state officers to LSU today! These exceptional young leaders represent the future of our state, and our youth programs are preparing them to lead with purpose and impact.

I had the privilege of speaking with the @lafarmbureau Board of Directors yesterday alongside LSU Executive Vice President Dr. James Dalton and head of the @lsuagcenter Dr. Matt Lee. I also stopped by for a quick interview with This Week in Louisiana Agriculture.

Louisiana ranks third nationally for childhood obesity rates. @PBRCNews' @GreauxHealthy Moves Bus is working to change that.
