MONTANA TRIBE OVERWHELMED WITH MEXICAN CARTELS -- Tribal leaders in Montana issued an urgent plea to Congress, saying they are overwhelmed and outmatched as Mexican drug cartels exploit jurisdictional loopholes to embed themselves on Native American reservations with devastating effects. Jeffrey Stiffarm, president of the Fort Belknap Indian Community, testified that the Sinaloa Cartel operates with near impunity in his region, capitalizing on chronic underfunding of law enforcement on the 652,000-acre reservation patrolled by just nine officers. “We are fighting a losing battle. Expected gratuity is out of hand! I went to a fast food restaurant with grandkids where you have to order your food using a self serve kiosk. After figuring out how to find and order our food on this contraption, at the end of the order the program asks for a tip for its workers! A tip for what? I did everything myself expect cook the food, I never talked to or even saw a worker. Before the kiosks, when a worker took my order and gave me change, a tip was never asked for or expected. Now that I am doing everything myself, they expect a tip? Tipping was supposed to be for good service received, so why is a tip asked for when there is no service received? I am not cheap but this is just a matter of principal to me and I refuse to tip a kiosk machine, but I also didn't like sitting in that restaurant feeling guilty for not tipping. My solution is I am not going back, even though they have pretty good food. I will always tip a worker for good service, I will not tip a kiosk machine!

The café I like to work from just changed their light bulbs. Bright LEDs directly overhead now. The worst part? Even if I offered to bring incandescent bulbs, they couldn't use them. EU regulations banned them years ago. You think carefully about what you eat. Yet you sit under blue LEDs for 4 hours without a second thought. Light is a nutrient. Blue light is fast food.

@MMTLPtrch @_RECLAIM3R @JulianFried Technique is the main issue. High torque impacts and off angle driving with good tools will still strip good bolts. But you’re not wrong, cheap tools can make it worse because they don’t fit well making it easier for the drive to be off angle.
