We used to have the common sense to not leak client DMs for clout… This signals to potential clients with a budget not to work with you… All because you want validation from people who can’t afford you. I’m not even against the price for the line items depending on engagement on her other platforms. But the truth is sometimes saying “you’re out of our budget”, is a polite way to avoid saying “we saw some red flags in your posts, that make you a liability to our brand image”. And honestly most of these younger influencers are letting themselves become unemployable, walking red flags, so they can chase vitality and attention from the people that can’t ever hire them… And alienating the exact clients they want, who can afford them.

You’re teaching valuable skills that too many people fail the hard way. Improperly interacting with law enforcement can quickly escalate into a life or death skill. I instructed my children during traffic stops - be respectful and don’t argue. Argue in court where you are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

They may not be dealing with the police today…but one day they might. So we’re teaching them. Wrong way. Right way. Stay calm. Don’t argue. Handle it. You get home. And even if you do everything right, things can still go wrong. This isn’t the full lesson.

@NASA Why is the topography of the moon so roundly smooth but on the images shot by Apollo it is rugged mountainous & no cheese like craters...?

“You can see the surface of the Moon…we just went sci-fi.” On flight day seven, images from our @NASAArtemis II crew amazed, turning science fiction to reality. From the lunar far side to a solar eclipse from the Moon, the views are EVERYTHING. No pressure to pick a favorite.

My daughter is going to prom in a few weeks, so I was showing her some of my old pics and found these two gems from Junior and senior year of high school.

🚨 JESSICA ALBA FREAKS OUT AFTER NASA ASTRONAUT REQUESTS HER BRAND’S LOTION FROM SPACE — WATCH HER REACTION A routine transmission from orbit just took a strange turn. An astronaut on Artemis II isn’t asking for tools… not equipment… not anything mission-critical. They’re asking for lotion. Specifically: • “Honest” brand • Called a “community hygiene item” • Can’t find it anywhere onboard • Not even listed in their supply plan Out of everything in space… that’s the request. Then Jessica Alba watches the clip from her car, filming her reaction in real time. You can literally see it hit her. “This is wild… I never thought this would be my real life.” From starting a company inspired by her daughter… to hearing astronauts ask for it… in orbit. Is that something astronauts normally request?

@FixingEducation I don’t think “many people” believe teaching is an “easy job”. Some people question why the k-12 education system at large ignores research, refuses to acknowledge that discipline is good and necessary, is easily lured by fads, and is quick to close schools for any reason.

Many people genuinely believe teachers have an “easy job” with short hours, summers off, and great benefits. And yet, over the past 7 years, we’ve seen record numbers of teachers leave the profession while fewer people are choosing to enter it. Why leave such an ‘easy job’? 🙄
