@NoHolyScripture As someone who survived child poverty, abuse, and multiple sexual assaults I have had to think about this. But what, instead I’m just supposed to believe God isn’t real because I’m still alive and better after all of the abuse I’ve suffered? Is that the better way to think?

"I survived, so God is real" This notion is a slap in the face, an insult to every child who starved, every parent who grieved, every life cut short. Don’t use their suffering as your sermon’s footnote.

Text to my husband today: “Where do we keep the house filters?” Why? Because the AC guy was here today and offered to change them for us, a job that my husband handles. He knows when to change them, and he knows the size and type of filters we use. I do not. Because in a marriage you divvy up the mental load. I handle the grocery list because I cook, because I’m better at it! He does the dishes, so when he’s low on dishwasher soap he tells me and I add it to the list. This video implies only women have a mental load which is utter BS. Husbands and wives just handle different aspects of the household. That’s how it works. That’s how it’s always worked.

Till today, no Christian has been able to answer this question. If Yahweh, the Bible deity, isn’t just a genocidal maniac, why didn’t he send Jesus earlier rather than drown the whole planet, killing women, men, children, babies, pregnant women, and animals in the process…especially when the flood literally didn’t achieve anything, as the world wasn’t actually cleansed and went back to default pretty quickly? People who believe the stories in the Bible baffle me.

The average couple. Just both mediocre looking, nothing about their entire existences being noteworthy. They work a boring 9-5, drive run of the mill sedans and spend their weekends watching TV. They’ll have 2 kids, a boy & a girl - who will carry on this unremarkable cycle.

The bible commands to love neighbors, pray for the lost, & sharing the Gospel. God desires all to be saved. It’s a responsibility to share the message of salvation & pray for others' spiritual well-being.

I get extremely nauseous and can’t eat all day but then binge at night. Trust me. I go to doctors. I’m a woman remember?
