The Turks are under pressure, and the eastern Mediterranean is heating up. Turkey clearly recognizes that the tightening axis between Israel, Greece, and Cyprus is not a passing diplomatic episode, but the beginning of a new regional reality—one that poses a real counterweight to it. Therefore, Turkish pressure is not an argument against the alliance, it is an involuntary acknowledgment of its significance. The weakening of Iran and the vacuum that has emerged since the oath in October have led to a clash between two regional powers struggling for Middle Eastern hegemony. For a long period, Turkey saw Israel bleeding and exhausting itself on countless fronts and was unprepared for a confrontation with Turkish power, but something recently began to shake Turkish self-confidence. This something is the strategic alliance between Israel, Greece, and Cyprus. What started as an exchange of knowledge and economic and military cooperation has developed in recent months into a deep and binding connection—not only as an expression of a growing friendship, but also as a unification against a common enemy. The Turks, for their part, recognize the challenge and are responding accordingly. The strategy, it seems, is to undermine the alliance by 'opening Greek eyes' to the danger of the alliance with Israel. The goal is to separate Israel from its allies, and then to dominate. Last week, signs of this could be seen even more clearly. On Wednesday, for example, Yeni Şafak, the newspaper associated with Erdoğan's AKP party, published an article written by Sernur Yasıkkaya, the paper's senior foreign affairs correspondent. The article was written in English and claimed that Israel is using Greece as a Trojan horse to weaken NATO and the European Union. The allusion to Greek mythology and the fact that the article was written in English are not accidental, since the article was not intended for Turkish eyes The article lays out serious accusations. Israel, Yasikaya claims, not only drags Europe into the chaos it creates in the Middle East, but also attempts to weaken and dismantle NATO. The implications, he writes, are that Greece increasingly appears as 'the troubled child in Europe,' and Cyprus ('South Cyprus' in his wording) pays the price for becoming an Israeli military base in the form of Iranian missile and drone attacks from Lebanon. Also Hakan Fidan, Turkish FM was interviewed this week and also warned Greece and Cyprus against holding the alliance. The attempt to go against Turkey, he said, is a dangerous policy, and he explicitly threatened: 'It will not bring trust, but rather distrust, trouble, and war.' Israel's need for this alliance is not because it is truly a friend of the Greeks, it is because Israel is trying to label Turkey as an enemy, as it cannot exist without an enemy. Moreover, Fidan argued, neither Greece nor the 'Greek Cypriot administration' (a term intended to diminish Cypriot sovereignty on the island) needs military cooperation with Israel – 'Greece is a NATO member and the 'Greek Cypriot administration' has the support of the European Union.' There is no need or logic for this alliance, he said. Equally interesting is the response to these messages. The Greek Foreign Ministry, in an official statement that barely hides the triple finger, declared 'Greece shapes its foreign policy independently, it does not take instructions and owes no explanations to anyone.' Cyprus, too, shook off the accusations. Cyprus President Christodoulides said in an interview with Bloomberg that although missiles were fired at Cyprus, they were not on Cypriot soil but at the British bases located. Soon NATO will belong to past and everyone hands will be untied.

🇹🇷 Turkish hypocrisy at its finest 😂 Turks love asking: “Where is Kurdistan? Can’t see it on the map!” But Palestine? They see it crystal clear and scream “Free Palestine!” nonstop. Erasing 70+ million Kurds while championing another cause when it suits them? Classic double standards 👀 #Kurdistan #FreeKurdistan #TurkishHypocrisy #DoubleStandards #Palestine

Day by day, the friendship between the Kurdish and Jewish peoples grows stronger. The number of Kurds who love, support, and stand with Israel continues to rise. And the result in the end: a strong and solid alliance between Kurdistan and Israel! 🇮🇱💙🙏

Anti-Semitism has swallowed the West, and as a British Jew, it scares me. Britain is my home, but I no longer feel safe here. I genuinely believe I could be murdered simply for being Jewish. Everyone who still has a conscience must stand with Jews and crush this hatred now.

📄 DEFEATING RADICAL ISLAM REQUIRES A KURDISH STRATEGY The Kurds, a nation of 40 million across Syria, Turkey, Iraq, and Iran, are emerging as a key factor in the region’s balance of power. A new policy paper from @urizaki argues Israel should adopt a long-term strategic approach toward the Kurdish nation across multiple arenas. As the Middle East continues to shift after October 7 and the confrontation with Iran, the Kurdish question may become central to the region’s future. Full report link in the comments.
