@stevebiddle @FlyAirNZ I’m always interested as to why they return to origin instead of going to (say) LAX or SFO where they have facilities and put everyone on a United domestic flight. Same as the EK one that went back to DXB after getting halfway here.

So @FlyAirNZ NZ2 is returning from half way to JFK due to a small fire at JFK airport which has resulted in the closure of the terminal. A long flight to nowhere!

@Mykuhl @card_file2 We tried to go to Eden park on Saturday. Train was loaded. Cancelled due to a lack of a driver. Then reinstated (found a driver I guess) then made random stops between Britomart and Eden Park.

@card_file2 @MarcusDCook I take public transport for personal things when it's more convenient than finding parking. Heading to Eden Park? Take the bus/train. Heading to Sylvia Park at Christmas time? Take the train. Going up to the shops to buy some milk? Drive.
