I could be wrong...but I've heard that communication is a 2-way street and there were no laws against you (Baker) sending Stefanski a text or calling him after you got traded🧐
Baker Mayfield@bakermayfield
Failed is quite the reach pal. Still waiting on a text/call from him after I got shipped off like a piece of garbage. Can’t wait to see you twice a year, Coach.

look, it’s a kind sentiment, but it’s not the job of a reporter to console a coach in a postgame press conference.
Pressers are to ask questions to gain a better understanding of what happened or figure out what’s next — and do it in a limited amount of time.

Alright, I'm going to say this one final time so all of you can move on. TJ Watt did not have 618 pass rush snaps in 2021. Myles Garrett did not have 437 pass rush snaps in 2025. There is some terminology (and intentionally misleading images) that we need to clear up.
Team pass snaps = total # off pass snaps the entire team faced (total pass attempts against + sacks)
Pass rush snaps = total number of times an individual player was a pass rusher
In 2021, the Steelers as a team faced 618 team pass snaps -- 563 attempts and 55 sacks.
In 2021, TJ Watt was a pass rusher on 393 snaps (413 total minus 20 snaps that were negated by penalty). He averaged 17.47 snaps per sack and 1.5 sacks per game played (2nd best all-time behind Reggie White's 1.75 in 1987).
In 2025, the Browns as a team faced 540 team pass snaps -- 487 attempts and 53 sacks. The "437" number floating around was team pass snaps as of December 15th.
In 2025, Myles Garrett was a pass rusher on 479 snaps (507 total minus 28 that were negated by penalty). He averaged 20.83 snaps per sack and 1.35 sacks per game played (8th best all-time).
All of this can be found on PFF.com, pro-football-reference.com and pro.nfl.com. There is a small amount of disagreement on pass rush snaps between PFF and NFL Pro, but it negligible.
Now, let's get on with our lives.

I think the craziest stat about Myles Garrett’s record setting season is how much harder he had to work to get it.
Teams didn’t gameplan for TJ Watt in 2021, they just let him line up against the RT or TE with no help. #DawgPound

Guy asked me a question yesterday: Aside from all of the marketing, attention, tv ratings, ticket sales, jersey sales, etc, what has Shedeur Sanders actually done on the FIELD that makes you believe that he deserves to be QB1 next year?
Great question.
The Browns signed Jameis Winston to a one-year deal in March of 2024 to serve as the backup to Deshaun Watson.
From April through October, Jameis had OTA’s, training camp, and regular season games to soak up the playbook, to receive practice reps with the 1’s, and to prepare to replace Deshaun in the event of an injury.
Deshaun started the first 7 games. The team was 1-6 in those games. Jameis, was one of the most highly sought after veteran free agents in the league.
He was also a former #1 overall pick, and an 8 year veteran. After several MONTHS of reps with the 1’s, Jameis took over as the starter, and started the next 7 games.
The team was 2-5 in those 7 starts. The Browns finished with a total of 3 wins for the entire SEASON.
—————————————————
Shedeur was drafted in April of 2025. From April to November he was largely discarded by his coaches. He did not even run the scout team in practice.
They had him throwing balls in practice to free agents, equipment managers, and any other bums that they could find.
As a ROOKIE, he received 3 DAYS of reps with the 1’s prior to being thrown out for his first start for a 2-8 team against the Raiders.
He outplayed Geno Smith, Cam Ward, Josh Allen, and Aaron Rodgers in head-to-head matchups.
He ended the season by leading his team to a walk-off clutch win over Joe Burrow.
Going into the Titans game, the Browns defense was giving up an average of 13 points per game.
Had they maintained this defensive intensity, Shedeur would have led his team to victories over the Raiders, Titans, Bills, Steelers, and Bengals, finishing with a record of 5-2 as a starter while playing with 3rd stringers!!
This did not happen because the defense became obsessed with the sack record, and ended up getting torched for 490 yards rushing by the Titans, Bills, and Bears.
What did Shedeur do ON the field? Crap that no other rookie QB from the 2024 NFL Draft would have been CAPABLE of doing with a roster full of backups. 🏈🏈

@Gothamcity_jetz @MLFootball Everyone just smile and laugh at this guy 😹😹😹😹

@MLFootball Yeah we’ll enjoy this karma when we grab Dante Moore at 2 and have a franchise qb for 15 years while the Steelers will be out in the first round and in the qb carousel for the next five years trying to find a long term solution. @MLFootball

It's been a long journey with how things been in the portal but I wanna say how grateful I am for my former DC and the relationship we built. He welcomed me like family, trusted me to be a leader on the defense, and gave me opportunities that meant everything to my growth and confidence. That trust pushed me to rise to a standard he believed I could reach. He expected All-Conference out of me and that’s exactly what happened. Through that trust and belief, I also broke 2 school records, had the most turnovers in the conference along with being top 3 or 5 in multiple individual defensive categories in the conference. Those achievements reflect the confidence he had in me and the family culture he stood for. Forever thankful for the support, belief, and trust. This relationship goes beyond football and the words he gave me during this moment are meaningful to me of how much confidence he's always had in me. @CoachMottIV
