I'm tired of the constant spam and telemarketing calls every day. Last week, I lost $800 to a scam, and experiences like this show how serious the problem has become. We need stronger protection against scammers and unwanted callers before more people lose their hard-earned money

During times of grief and stress,it's understandable to make decisions out of desperation, and unfortunately scammers prey on that vulnerability. I truly hope you get your money back and that your case receives the attention.

I was scammed out $2,500 by a fake mentorship program. And because I paid with @Klarna I may never see my money again. Ive now had to escalate my case for the 3rd time and theres no fraud team to speak with directly. I wish I knew this wasn’t a secure payment method 😭.

@tyyanna_m I felt this! 😩 My phone rings so many times a day from spam callers that I hesitate to answer unknown numbers now. At this point, they're not just annoying—they're disrupting people's daily lives. Seriously, go find something more productive to do !

@congressdj I'm experiencing the same thing. My phone rings constantly with loan offers I never requested, and it's becoming unbearable. At some point, this stops being marketing and starts being harassment. Something needs to change.

We have a real problem with spam calls in this country. And I don’t mean robocalls. These are real people who are actually getting paid to call their fellow citizens and harass them about loans they don’t need from shady sources. It needs to stop. How does society make these jobs toxic?

@Jessica319C Same here! Apparently I've applied for more loans than I can remember. 😅 Just be careful not to share any personal details—many of these calls are spam or scam attempts. Stay safe! 👍

Is anyone else getting bombarded with calls about a personal loan they supposedly applied for? I'm talking 10+ calls a day. I never applied for anything, but apparently I'm out here making financial decisions I know nothing about 😂

@Megz589 @elonmusk I’m sorry your mother had to go through that. Scammers often target elderly people because they see them as vulnerable, and it’s heartbreaking to see victims struggle to get justice. As citizens, all we can do is keep reporting scams, raise awareness, and support stronger action.

@elonmusk we need your brilliant mind to put a stop to Scammers! I’ve done everything to help my elderly mother who got scammed reported the scam to SAPS just to be told the SA fraud department doesn’t have intent 🤦🏻‍♀️ how can you do anything without intent?

@FoxxKalena I’m sorry that happened to you. Unfortunately, a lot of people who have already been scammed are targeted again by so-called “recovery” or “refund” services that promise to get the money back. Please be very careful with anyone asking for upfront fees or guaranteeing recovery. If you’re still dealing with the so called recovery agency I will advise you stop with immediate effect so won't get scammed again follow back let's talk privately.
